Every fee, in one place
| What you do | What it costs | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Create or restore a wallet | Free | No account, email or ID check. |
| Receive crypto | Free | Anyone can send to your address. |
| Send crypto | Network fee only | Paid to the blockchain, not to SwiftAza. Often a few cents on Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism and Solana. |
| Swap, or move a coin to another network | 0.5% SwiftAza fee + 0.25% LI.FI fee | Plus the network fee. All of it is included in the quote you see before you confirm. |
| Buy from people (P2P) | No SwiftAza fee | Peer may charge its own fees, shown on its site. |
| Buy or sell by card or bank | Shown by the provider | Yellow Card, Transak, MoonPay or Paybis shows its full fee before you pay. SwiftAza may receive a share of it. |
Compared with MetaMask
MetaMask charges a 0.875% fee on swaps. SwiftAza’s swap fees total 0.75%: 0.5% for SwiftAza and 0.25% for LI.FI, the service that finds the best route. Network fees are the same wherever you swap, and exchange rates differ between apps, so the fairest comparison is the amount you finally receive.

Fee questions
- How much does a swap cost on SwiftAza?
- A 0.5% SwiftAza fee and a 0.25% fee from LI.FI, the service that finds the best route, plus the blockchain’s network fee. All of it is included in the quote you see before you confirm.
- Is SwiftAza cheaper than MetaMask for swaps?
- SwiftAza’s swap fees total 0.75%, against MetaMask’s 0.875% fee. Rates also depend on the route each app finds, so compare the amount you receive.
- Does SwiftAza charge to send or receive crypto?
- No. Receiving is free, and sending costs only the blockchain’s network fee.
- Can I buy crypto without an account?
- Yes. With Peer you buy USDC from other people using Revolut, Wise, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle or PayPal, held in a smart-contract escrow, with no account or ID check. In Africa, Yellow Card lets you pay with local money, such as a naira bank transfer or mobile money; Yellow Card checks your ID once. SwiftAza itself never needs an account.
- Do I pay more if a friend invited me?
- No. Invite rewards come out of SwiftAza’s own fee, so your swaps cost the same.
